Gérard C. Tavel, President and Coordinator of marketing, international trade finance, international banking, establishment and management of "on" and "off- shore" companies, management of international trade finance and all related trade documentation and assets management, assisted by a team of Associated Consultants, each of them specialized in their field and with a long and broad experience in international business and international companies.
Gerard Tavel's principal activity during his professional career was concentrated mainly on International Commerce and the management of Financing.
Initially during ten years, from 1973 to 1983 as Manager, and subsequently Managing Director of:
- CREDEX Lausanne S.A, member of the London American Finance Corporation of London Group, then:
- MIDLAND BANK International Trade Services (MITS), associated company of Midland Bank plc, London, as General Director and then Administrator Delegate.
- Board Director of MIDLAND BANK OFFSHORE Monaco (till 1985).
- Board Director of the Compagnie des Sulfures de Carbone de Marseille.
In 1983, as principal shareholder, he created the Compagnie Financière de Négoce C.F.N S.A, and was responsible for the Management and Presidency of the Company till 2003. This Company concentrated principally on the financing of international trading, notably between Japan and Europe, in collaboration with such groups as:Mitsubishi Motors , Honda motorcycles, Polaris USA, Apple Computers France, Peugeot France and CGE Espagne.
From 2003 onwards, having sold C.F.N to the VANGUARD GROUP of South Africa, Gérard TAVEL re-activated a Company he had created in 1983, FINANCE & CONSEILS G.C TAVEL, whose aim was to establish a competent pool of knowledge and experience by seeking the collaboration of experienced independent Associates with their specific expertise and professional activities, this provided a unique global advisory service of counseling, introductions, and a network of valuable contacts in the field of International Commerce, with particular experience on the aspect of Financing.
This innovating and efficient concept offers immediate access wordlwide to a vast range of advantages: flexibility, diverse
